A PSYCHOLINGUISTIC STUDY OF STUDENTS’ WORLDVIEW ATTITUDES

Suhareva E.S.

A PSYCHOLINGUISTIC STUDY OF STUDENTS’ WORLDVIEW ATTITUDES

Abstract. Globalization is causing significant changes in people’s religious consciousness, especially among the youth. This study examines worldview attitudes through the prism of linguistic consciousness, defined as a set of images formed and expressed through linguistic means. The research analyzes the differences between religious ideology, which explains the world through transcendent forces, and secular worldviews based on materialism and rational cognition. Worldview formation occurs throughout a person’s life but is most intensive during the period of professional development. The student age is the most sensitive period for worldview formation, associated with intellectual growth, active acquisition of new social roles, development of professional identity, and enhancement of reflexive abilities and self-awareness. Using the associative experiment method, the study reveals the deep content of worldview attitudes and their influence on the perception of value concepts. The results demonstrate significant differences in the worldview paradigms of students from secular and religious universities, reflected in their understanding of reality, sources of knowledge, and value systems. Despite methodological challenges, examining worldviews through linguistic consciousness proves to be an effective approach for identifying stable patterns in world conceptualization. This method allows for the detection of unconscious aspects of worldviews that are difficult to capture through traditional research methods.

Keywords: associative experiment, religious consciousness, secular consciousness, worldview attitudes.

PRACTICE-ORIENTED APPROACHES IN TEACHER EDUCATION

Abstract. The education system shapes the educational and attitudinal potential of future generations. Due to the special global and national challenges facing our country, the education system is entrusted with an extremely important mission. The issue of high-quality training of teaching staff is of paramount importance today. Becoming a teacher, developing competence and professional identity is a long process that requires the creation of special organizational and educational conditions. The study of disciplines of the psychological and pedagogical cycle, teaching methods, principal subjects at the university precedes professional pedagogical practice, which is the most important stage of teacher training. The study allows us to conclude that the system of teacher training in Russia is actively transforming. Specialists are looking for new effective practices and updating previously proven technologies and methods of work organization. An important point is the need to harmonize the form and content of training.

The responsible mission of professional teaching practice is to develop practical skills that are essential for further professional activity. A variety of practices allow to form a whole picture of the future profession, where in the process of direct immersion in teaching and learning activities students meet the professional reality as a teacher. For many of them it becomes a serious stage of rethinking their educational goals, personal qualities and life strategy. Professional and pedagogical practice vividly reveals both gaps in theoretical knowledge, unformed important skills, and problems related to personal characteristics that were not obvious to the student during the period of theory training. The experience of implementation of long-term professional pedagogical practice in Tula State Lev Tolstoy Pedagogical University helps to discover promising elements for further development of the model of quality professional pedagogical education.

Key words: professional teacher education; students; future teachers; professional teaching practice; professional identity; practice-oriented training technologies.

INTERDISCIPLINARYY NATURE AND POLYVECTOR CHARACTER OF SCIENTIFIC REFLEXION ON COACHING

Abstract. During 1980-2024 in global and national academic literature it is observed that constant growth of scientific investigations of coaching leads to broadening of the thematic spheres in them. It is revealed that foreign academic literature devoted to coaching is thematically richer and concerns more specialized topics of investigation (RCT, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses). Russian academic tradition only starts to master coaching as a separate subject of research. Most of the analyzed publications are scientific articles crafted on the material of case studies. Investigations are designed in such scientific branches as pedagogics and education, management and business, psychology, medicine, philosophy, sociology, culturology and linguistics. Nowadays there are no specialized scientific works devoted to linguistic aspects of coaching.

CULTURAL-HISTORICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE MEDIATION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PREVENTION OF BULLYING SITUATIONS AMONG ADOLESCENTS

CULTURAL-HISTORICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE MEDIATION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PREVENTION OF BULLYING SITUATIONS AMONG ADOLESCENTS

Abstract. The article reveals the methodological, theoretical and practical provisions of the author’s approach to the development of a mediation technology to prevent bullying among children and adolescents in secondary school. It is assumed that the described approach will be one of the most important areas of preventive work with students of educational organizations. The authors give their own interpretation of the concept of bullying prevention. Prevention is understood as the systematic psychological and pedagogical work of teachers to form a mediative (alter-bullying) culture in the children’s environment, regardless of whether there are cases of bullying or not. The authors single out L.S. Vygotsky’s cultural and historical theory as the main methodological basis. In addition, the key provisions of K. Levin’s field theory are used in the development of a mediation technology for the formation of alter-bullying values. Theoretical calculations are based on the assumption of the existence of a continuum of “natural behavior – cultural behavior”. In life situations with the potential for bullying, subjects tend to behave naturally. This, in fact, increases the risks of exacerbation of destructive social interaction between children, their implementation of aggressive verbal and non-verbal forms of behavior. The key psychological mechanism for preventing bullying in these situations is the overcoming of natural forms of cultural behavior. The main psychological technique is a non-zero-sum game. Based on the developed theoretical provisions, the authors present an example of a model situation containing the potential for bullying, as well as a description of the methodological structure of two solutions to the model situation: natural and cultural. In the final part of the article, the results of the pilot testing of mediation technology on future teachers – students of a pedagogical university are summarized.

Keywords: mediation, bullying, psychological violence, cultural and historical theory, natural and cultural forms of behavior, bullying prevention.

SOCIAL NETWORKS AS A PROBLEM FOR THE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF THE MOTHER IN MODERN SOCIETY

SOCIAL NETWORKS AS A PROBLEM FOR THE PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF THE MOTHER IN MODERN SOCIETY

Abstract. The article examines social networks in terms of their impact on the psychological well-being of mothers. The relevance of the study is related to the rapid growth of the audience of social networks, including among mothers. Various scientific positions are considered: some researchers note the positive importance of social networks for enriching the experience and self-awareness of the mother, others point to the risks of constructing an exaggerated image of the “ideal mother” that does not correspond to reality. It is shown that the perception of such an image leads to excessive comparison, a sense of self-failure and the development of symptoms of depression and anxiety in mothers. The article also provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of social networks on the psychological well-being of mothers, taking into account socio-cultural differences in European countries, Western countries, Eastern countries and CIS countries. It was revealed that in European and Western countries, the image of a mother prevails, focused on self-realization and balance between personal life and parenting. In eastern countries, like Israel, on the contrary, the traditional image of motherhood is more relevant, due to the patriarchal model of society. In the CIS countries, there is a mixture of these trends, where the ideals of motherhood fluctuate between traditional and modern approaches. The study shows that social networks increase pressure on mothers in all the regions considered, promoting unattainable standards. This leads to an increase in cases of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem among mothers, especially when they compare their real life situations with idealized images on social media.

Keywords: social networks, mothers, psychological well-being, ideal mother, depression, anxiety, self-awareness.

<em>Abstract</em>. The article analyzes the principle of dynamic language impact on the audience in the process of public speeches of politicians in order to achieve their communicative goals and objectives. The analysis reveals the details of the speech portrait of the politician’s personality. At the same time, on the example of specific political figures, aspectual manifestations of a linguistic personality in various situations of political interaction are considered, and temporal manifestations of a linguistic personality in the speeches of political figures are studied in detail. Thus, in the course of the analysis, when forming and describing the dynamics of the interaction between the components of the speech portrait of a politician, the authors identify, along with the static elements of the language portrait, a number of elements of a dynamic nature. As a result of the study, based on modern politicians speeches, scientists are building a universal framework for a dynamic model of a speech portrait of a modern politician, the essence of which is that it combines on one platform a kind of dichotomy of the speaker’s personal characteristics that constantly confront each other thus creating a unique combination of interaction of individual psychological characteristics of a person with a number of cumulative extralinguistic factors in given situations of communication.

<p style=”text-align: center;”><strong>PREVENTION OF BULLYING AMONG CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS</strong></p>
<em><strong>Abstract</strong>.</em> The article is devoted to the actual problem of the psychology of interpersonal relations of children and adolescents in the conditions of the educational process, namely destructive forms of their communication and interaction – bullying. A critical analysis of the current state of the problem of prevention and prevention of bullying among children and adolescents has been carried out. The mythologization and stereotyping of teachers’ consciousness in assessing the situation of child bullying is presented as a leading factor in the spread of this phenomenon among young people. The main social and psychological channels of bullying broadcast into the children’s environment are identified: intercultural, labor (professional) and intra-family. The authors attempt to substantiate bullying as a spontaneous form of social initiation of children during the passage of the corresponding social situation of development. At the same time, the conflictogenicity of communication is indicated as a psychological mechanism leading to bullying, suggesting simultaneous actualization of the needs for unification and individualization. To build an optimal system of prevention and prevention of bullying, the authors turn to the identification and analysis of psychological and pedagogical deficits of teachers. WECHAT-BASED CREATIVE LEARNING FOR DIVE CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Abstract. This article is devoted to the consideration of the creative effectiveness of WeChat-based learning in teaching Chinese as a foreign language (CFL). The specifics of this methodology, created on the basis of the theory of connectivism, aimed at studying the features of learning using mobile devices under the CFL exchange program with immersion and using the WeChat social communication application as a means of exchanging multimedia messages, are described. WeChat analysis of the results obtained during the experimental study revealed a number of difficulties that arise during working with the WeChat mobile application in the process of learning a foreign language: the reluctance of individual students to work with the application or in social networks; the lack of an autonomous learning environment; the influence of low internal motivation of students on their involvement in the learning process using WeChat. Based on the results of the analysis, proposals have been put forward to improve the environment for teaching a foreign language and conducting further research based on WeChat. Among the most important aspects of successful foreign language teaching using the WeChat service are: a clear statement of the purpose of the language exchange program; the design of the language course; the variety of educational material; continuity of bilingual interaction between language learners and native speakers; stimulation of students’ motivation using the methodology of problem-oriented learning, etc.

FORMATION OF A PROFESSIONAL IMAGE OF THE WORLD OF COLLEGE STUDENTS

The article deals with the problem of the professional image of the world of college students. A systematic analysis of approaches to understanding the phenomenon of professional consciousness is carried out. The professional image of the world is revealed as an essential characteristic of professional consciousness. The structure of the professional image of the world is discussed, in which the invariant and variable parts are distinguished. The author highlights the most important factor of optimal formation of the professional image of the world of older adolescents – the peculiarities of the social situation of development. The signs of an uncertain professional image of the world of adolescents, formed due to the difficulties of the current social situation of development, are described. The results of the study of the professional image of the world of college students obtained during an associative experiment are presented. As a way to overcome the uncertainty of the professional image of the world, the author provides justifications related to the construction of developing secondary vocational education. The author, focusing on the cultural and historical theory of L.S. Vygotsky, identifies the formation and development of professional consciousness as the central problem of vocational training. The article suggests a different approach to the construction of college education from the traditional one. LOGO OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION AS A CREOLIZED TEXT. PART II

I. Vashunina

LOGO OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION AS A CREOLIZED TEXT. PART II

The article presents the results of a study of logos of higher educational institutions. The main purpose of the article is to characterize the formation of the meaning of the creolized text of the logo. The logos of the first hundred of the world ranking of universities served as the research material. Logos carry information about the location of the university, that the educational institution is a classical university, usually with a long history, is a serious institution, an institution of European standard / tradition, knowledge is gained there, wisdom is acquired, this is a place where students study, this is a place where they learn something specific, this institution is not for everyone, but only for the knowledgeable / interested / selected. The main difference between the content of the creolized text of the logo of Moscow universities and universities of the first hundred is that the basis of the semantics of logos of universities of the first hundred is elitism (in most cases, logos are incomprehensible to the recipient who does not have special knowledge). Logos of Moscow universities primarily serve as a presentation of an educational institution, they are mostly understandable. Changing logos from complex to simple verbal ones does not go beyond the cognitive paradigm: the information contained in the logos refers to the knowledge available to the recipient. The same trend has been noted for Moscow universities. However, this process is based on another mechanism: the change of the cognitive paradigm to the psycholinguistic one.

Keywords: psycholinguistic paradigm, logos of higher educational institutions, creolized text, iconic component of the creolized text, form semantics, color semantics

INTERPRETATIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF A CREOLIZED EDUCATIONAL TEXT

The article attempts to reveal the deep mechanisms of interpretation of the creolized educational text. The creolized educational text is analyzed from the standpoint of the theory of speech activity, in which communication is considered as a process aimed at organizing joint activities. The author substantiates the key idea about the conditionality of interpretative characteristics by the structures of communication and joint activity. The experimental part of the study is devoted to the analysis of factor structures obtained during the assessment of various stimulus material by respondents: the whole creolized educational text, and its individual verbal and non-verbal components. Categorical differences of factor structures are revealed. The phenomenon of interpretative affect is described, the presence of which creates significant difficulties in the semantic processing of sensory units. The criteria for evaluating the potentials of a creolized educational text and its verbal and non-verbal components that contribute to the organization of joint educational activities of a teacher and a student are highlighted.

S.G. Sorokina

TO THE PROBLEM OF PROFESSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS TYPOLOGY

The article is aimed at identifying certain types of professional consciousness in contemporary employees. The typical features of professional consciousness are considered resting on the most popular approaches to the analysis and types of professional activity, interaction and employee personality. Given the seminal perspective arguing that goal-oriented, productive performance requires being comprehended by the individual based on the individual’s perceptions of their own professional position, the author describes the psychological conditions for the developing typical features of professional consciousness. Such psychological conditions are considered to be employees’ focus on their professional area, social structure of the team and the value of work as a whole. An employee personality proves to be the semantic dominant that defines the hierarchy of the focal points determined and, in particular, their combinations. This personality mode used for the perception and assessment of the professional reality acts as the core of an individual’s professional consciousness, as well as the indicator for identifying typical features of professional consciousness.

THE PHENOMENON OF REASONING IN SOCIAL NETWORKS: TEXT MARKERS AND THE ROLE IN THE PROCESS OF MASTERING A NEW SOCIAL PHENOMENON

The article considers the main psychological and linguistic approaches to the definition and categorization of reasoning. The current task of highlighting textual signs of reasoning and determining parameters within the framework of the everyday picture of the world is set. An analysis of texts from the network discourse on the topic of distance education is given as an example of everyday reasoning of various forms. The study gives examples of text parameters of everyday and mythological reasoning, features of causality and frame structure. The study revealed the significance of normality and inclusion in the script for everyday reasoning, the emotionality of texts and a special type of transductive conclusions – for semantic reasoning. It was found that everyday reasoning about mass distance education is three times less common than semantic reasoning. This allows us to suggest a mechanism for mastering a new social situation by public consciousness. An analysis of the representation in social networks of the problem of mass distance learning suggests that at the moment this new social phenomenon is at the stage of transition from understanding to mastering the scenario, while professional developments of this problem, “moving towards” social demand, are preparing the transition to the third stage – the stage of rational management of the social situation that has arisen.

Keywords: reasoning, distance education, the everyday picture of the world, network communication, sign-based picture of the world.

The study was done with partial grant support RFBR 17-29-07051 and 18-29-22027.

CREATIVE WAYS OF DEVELOPING CONSCIOUSNESS SUBJECTS OF THE PEDAGOGICAL PROCESS

M. Sosnova

CREATIVE WAYS OF DEVELOPING CONSCIOUSNESS SUBJECTS OF THE PEDAGOGICAL PROCESS

The article analyzes the issues of educating creativity in a teacher and a student in their joint activities, emphasizes the need to create a creative mindset for both. An analysis of some real “creative techniques” [Sosnova, 2008b], approaches, techniques and technologies (from the Arsenal of E. Morin, Edward de Bono, J. Goleman, etc.), as well as individual technologies of the author of the article is given. Among other techniques, attention is drawn to the technology of «keeping a personal diary» [Sosnova, 2008b], to the method of “complex thinking” that is little used in pedagogy [Морен, 2005]. The author suggests that the scientific community should pay more attention to the impact on the creative component of the consciousness and (unconscious) of the teacher and student, and contribute in every possible way to the development of their psychological stability and moral spiritual strength.

Keywords: creativity, creativity, technologies and techniques of creativity, creative technique, teacher-researcher, functional organs of creativity, “complex thinking” (according to E. Moren), personal creative diary, spiritual power.

PORTRAIT OF A PROFESSIONAL LANGUAGE PERSONALITY OF A MODERN RUSSIAN COPYWRITE

M. Zakharova

PORTRAIT OF A PROFESSIONAL LANGUAGE PERSONALITY OF A MODERN RUSSIAN COPYWRITE

The article is devoted to the study of the linguistic personality of a modern copywriter, formed and functioning in the Russian language space. We study the conditions in which the sphere of professional language of copywriters was formed. The article describes the peculiarities of perception of the language space and language material by modern Russian-speaking copywriters, as well as the key factors of professional deformation of the linguistic picture of the world in this professional sphere. In the process of the research, the author comes to the following conclusions: the formation of professional language consciousness of a modern Russian-speaking copywriter working in the Russian information field is strongly influenced by American language thinking, which leads to a significant deformation of the language consciousness of a native Russian speaker who works in this professional field. However, at this point, it seems possible to argue that under the influence of the dynamics of the overall linguistic situation in Russia is planned the stabilization of the professional language field of copywriting in the framework of the actual Russian language mentality and gradual assimilation of English language content by the Russian language field.

Keywords: professional linguistic personality, copywriting, impact text, professional deformation, linguistic mentality.

MEDIATEXT AS INSTRUMENT OF MENTAL IMAGES’ FORMATION

Ju Junsheng, М.Matveev, Li Yajun

MEDIATEXT AS INSTRUMENT OF MENTAL IMAGES’ FORMATION

In the modern world the study of media has the particular importance. It should be noted that the media often plays the role of facilitator in the process of information transmission, so print and electronic media are powerful tool of formation of public consciousness. The reality today is constructed by media and almost everything we know about the world we get from media. Currently the whole range of techniques of modern science is used for the study of media texts – from traditional methods of system and content analysis to attract psychological and psycholinguistic methods. Application of methods of different sciences to analyze media allows you to obtain a comprehensive idea about the real properties of mediatexts, in particular to examine their impact on individual and public consciousness. This study uses a psycholinguistic approach to the study of creolized media texts.                                                                                               Understanding of creolized text is performed by an analog display, i.e. a way of consciousness that is similar to the image (e.g., visual or acoustic) of the object that a person is watching at the moment. The images of consciousness formed during the perception of objects and phenomena, and further, having been stored    in the mind, the perception of such an object or phenomenon, used as a perceptual standard to which the individual will carry out a comparison of perceived items later.

Keywords: mediatext, image consciousness, creolized text, discourse, semantic differential.

PROFESSIONAL WORLD IMAGE OF A SOLDIER IN SPECIAL UNITS’ DESIGNATIONS

E. Lupanova

PROFESSIONAL WORLD IMAGE OF A SOLDIER IN SPECIAL UNITS’ DESIGNATIONS

Anthropological paradigm in linguistics, which develops as an important part of language theory, involves the study of linguistic realities not as autonomous self-sufficient entities, but in close relationship with the fundamental aspects of human existence – culture, mentality, consciousness. The article is devoted to the study of the professional image of the world of the representatives of the American military subculture on the material of the US Army units’ special designations. The study of military phraseology allows us to speak about a special interpretation of ideas, attitudes and values, existing in the American culture in the language consciousness of soldiers whose mentality is formed under the influence of the specifics of life and tasks performed. The professional image of the world is distinguished by special images, symbols and stereotypes. Figurative systems underlying the phrases of the military sociolect make it possible to consider the peculiarities of the professional image of the world of soldiers, to reveal moral attitudes and values, to study the manifestations of ethnic mentality reflected in the semantics of notation symbols.

Keywords: world image, professional world image, army society, special designation, symbol, military subculture.

ON TAILOR-MADE TRANSLATION

Sakhnevich S.V.

ON TAILOR-MADE TRANSLATION

The article presented is devoted to the history of influencing translation. Any event in a societal life of people, inevitably dividing them, simultaneously splits translation recipients as well – into unsmilar to each other segments. Translators, though, noticing in translation history only the history of ideological discrepancies among translators proper, regard the necessity to select a translation technique in accordance with the type of a translation recipient as a whim of a translator rather than the demand of the modern period of translation, which reached another milestone in its evolution.
Additionally, the norms and the maxims built to improve translation more often than not make it incompehensible for a translation recipient thus for more than one hundred years blocking the development of a translation theory because their rigidness and intransingence do not permit any new translation sciences or any significant translation branches to emerge. It is high time an alternative to the norms and the maxims as a tool to improve translation were suggested. This alternative, in the Era of the Marketing Company is a target consumer, in our case a target translation consumer whose needs are necessary to meet. These needs can be a want to accelerate translation, to focus on grammar or to primitively convey the meaning of a text. It is on the basis translation recipient needs how a translator makes specific decisions in order to provide a tailor-made translation in accordance with the requirements of the Era of the Marketing Company in general, and the needs of a recipient in particular.

Keywords: co-institutionalization with a translation recipient, marketing company era, meeting needs of translation recipients, nomenclature, tailor-made translation, translation recipient, translation recipient`s noesis, translation segment, translator`s noesis.

FUNDAMENTALS OF THE THEORY OF PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION

I. Zhuravlev, Ju. Zhuravleva

FUNDAMENTALS OF THE THEORY OF PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION

This work is devoted to the analysis of scientific grounds on which the theory of psychotherapeutic communication can be built. The General psychological theory of activity, the theory of speech activity, the theory of speech communication, the theory of discourse analysis and the theory of communication of Palo Alto school are considered as the basis of the theory of psychotherapeutic communication. The idea of psychotherapy as a sign activity is substantiated. Mythological aspects of psychotherapy are considered. Five key characteristics of therapeutic communication are formulated: 1) the coincidence of the basic tasks of psychotherapy as a communication and psychotherapy as activities (psychotherapeutic communication to the point – this is the psychotherapeutic activity); 2) exteriorization of the figure of the “other” (the therapist for the client is the internal “others”, perceive the outside); 3) the existence in communication of different levels, including the level of content (communication) and relationships (metacommunication); 4) generative nature of psychotherapeutic communication in relation to the motives, meanings and knowledge of the client (as well as the therapist) and the associated priority of the process over the content; 5) proliferation of meanings (cascade nature of the process of meaning generation). It is shown that psychotherapeutic communication in the most vivid form demonstrates the essence of communication as it is, which consists in clarifying by a person his motives, meanings, knowledge not only for the other, but also for himself.

Keywords: psychotherapy, communication, activity, discourse, metacommunication, process and content, Socratic dialogue

CREATIVITY AND THE FORMATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS (IN THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF ACTOR)

M. Sosnova

CREATIVITY AND THE FORMATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS (IN THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF ACTOR)

The article analyzes creative activities of the actor in order to detect the mechanisms of formation of consciousness in the creative process. Training actor roles in its main features is technologically a well-established procedure, which has deep roots in the world of theatrical culture. The theater can be considered as a laboratory where there is a test and improvement of new technologies of formation of consciousness of actors, Directors, literators and spectators. It is necessary to use this rich experience to comprehend the complex processes of formation and development of consciousness, to understand the relationship of consciousness with the unconscious, with the intuition of the creator. In the process of creating the performance the actor and the Director constantly externalize processes and products of their consciousness, which obtains its significance in the form of Director’s explication, actor’s sketches of the future character’s portrait, clothing, costume, staging diagrams, etc. The finished work (performance) provokes images of perception, evaluation and judgments in spectator’s consciousness; literators transform these images into articles and reviews. The novelty of the research consists in the joint method of studying and interpreting data using the conceptual apparatus of art history and psychology. The article presents a system of components of the performance, objects of perception and evaluation by the audience, which is preliminarily (and partly in parallel, when the creation of the actor takes place in front of the public) the subject of the actor and Director’s efforts on the birth of images of consciousness, their plans in visible real images – for another consciousness and perception.

An author, an actress, a teacher or a researcher in the field of psychological and pedagogical processes emphasizes the importance of art as an effective way of formation and development of consciousness both of the creator and recipients, primarily for the purpose of humanization, socialization of individuals and society as a whole.

Keywords: creative activities, externalization of consciousness, methods and products of action activities as images of consciousness, technology of formation and development of consciousness, actor, Director, performance, recipient of  pieces of art, interpretation.

VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL RITUALS AS VALUES OF PROFESSIONAL CULTURE OF MILITARY

B. Boyko

VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL RITUALS AS VALUES OF PROFESSIONAL CULTURE OF MILITARY

The article deals with the analysis of the values of the army professional culture in the forms of its verbal and non-verbal realization, depending on the levels of social control. Each level is distinguished by the degree of social control that determines the set of verbal and non-verbal means. The implementation of appropriate verbal and non-verbal means depends on the degree of social control. The values of the highest level meet the requirements set forth in the general military regulations and manuals and are implemented in the practice of relations between military personnel depending on their social status. The values of the average level are determined both by the mentioned regulatory documents and by the practice of everyday communication, which is characterized by some reductions in the level of social control to the norms that do not impede the performance of official duties. The values of the lowest level are determined by the practice of informal relations among military personnel with reduced social control. Each level is characterized by its own set of verbal means, the highest level meets the requirements of the norm of a literary language, the average one by the norm admits inclusions of means of everyday speech and professional jargon. At the lower level, verbal communication is characterized by means of everyday speech, jargon units, and even vulgarisms. Non-verbal values (uniforms, forms of interaction between servicemen, etc.), like verbal ones, depend on the degree of social control and are expressed both in full compliance and in various deviations from statutory requirements
Keywords: verbal and non-verbal values, professional culture of the military, levels of social control, rituals as values of the professional culture, language of rituals.

IRONIC COMMUNICATION PROGRAM IN PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

M. Zakharova

IRONIC COMMUNICATION PROGRAM IN PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

The article is devoted to the role of irony in professional communication. The following questions are raised: the status of irony in professional communication, professional areas that allow and reject the use of irony, goals and objectives of the use of irony in professional communication. For greater objectivity of the description the concept “ironic regulative” (ironic communication program) is entered, allowing to describe irony not from the point of view of its formal displays, and from the speech program of the subject of communicative influence. The ironic regulative means a type of internal speech program of the subject of speech, in which the use of irony becomes a software way of solving communicative and professional tasks.
In the process of research the author comes to the following conclusions: ironic communication program is unacceptable in official forms of professional communication, however, in the process of informal professional communication, as well as in the process of professional activity in various fields, the use of ironic regulations is often not only acceptable, but also strategically necessary, as it allows to resolve conflict and stress situations less painfully. In some professional areas, ironic regulation becomes almost a prerequisite for highly professional communication outside the formal official business interaction zone.

Keywords: irony, strategic communication program, professional communication, conflict situation, communicative interaction.

ORGANIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF SCHOLARS OF LANGUAGE

K. Ursul

ORGANIZATION OF PROFESSIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF SCHOLARS OF LANGUAGE

The article is devoted to the analysis of the conceptual principles of the process that represents symbols and images of the world environment by means of a foreign language. The study is conducted on the basis of the cognitive science. The basis of the cognitive analysis is a concept of time that is the most fundamental concept in the structure of all foreign languages. The author believes this concept to be the most fundamental, first of all, because of its philosophical origins. Besides, the ability of each nation to describe similar events, but with different, dissimilar, linguistic forms, indicates that various nations have a common core of the concept of time, which has different forms of representation in the language structure depending on the language in question. As far as the analysis progresses, the author, after a number of scholars, introduces the notion of a “conceptual-semantic category”, which is universal for all languages and specifies a connection between language and way of thinking. This notion allows us to upbuild all the stages of the formation of thoughts and images in the human mind, to justify the idea of their verbal expression directly in the language and, thus, describe the organization of professional consciousness of scholars of language, who are engaged in the study of complex grammatical structures that are the subject of more sophisticated studies.

Key words: concept, conceptual-semantic category, consciousness, non-linguistic and linguistic categories, grammatical category.

T. Mironova

THE SELF-ACTUALIZATION OF PERSONALITY AND SENSE LIFE ORIENTATIONS OF THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES- THE ECONOMISTS

In the research of the economists‘ trend personality there were used tests of Self-actualization and Sense life orientations. Sixty persons took part in the research. They were divided into two groups: the first group joined the tested persons with the length of service less than fifteen years; the second group – with the length of service more than fifteen years. It was established that in general this selection was characterized by the middle level of personality‘s self-actualization, respectful attitude to oneselves and acceptance of their own personalities. The second group was differed from the first one by the tendency to the high level of self-actualization. In the first group the results revealed low values on the scales as Flexibility of Behaviour, Creativity and Sensitivity. It was typical for the two groups the high level of life‘s comprehension, the presence of purpose, acceptance of life process as an interesting and meaningful one. The results of the correlation analysis between two methodics were presented in the research.

GENDER ASPECT OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

I. Vashunina

GENDER ASPECT OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

The article outlines the problems that may arise in professional communication due to different gender of its participants. The gender factor is one of the characteristics of the professional team along with the age, as well as the hierarchical structure, professional inhomogeneity, different directions of professional activity and individual characteristics. All together, they make up a social portrait of the team, which is characterized by time-to-time variability. During the experiment, some gender differences were identified and their possible impact on the success of professional communication is predicted. It was found out that men and women differently evaluate the emotional and expressive texts. Men are somewhat more demanding than women to visualize information. Women prefer realism, and to men it may seem trivial, and they often tend to originality and symbolism. As for the visual presentation of information, men do not perceive the black-and – white scale, and women-blue-green-purple one. When evaluating a text, a woman, in comparison with a man, can overestimate its both positive and negative characteristics. Based on the results obtained, recommendations for professional communication are given. It is necessary to take into account the non-isolated effect of the gender factor, which is due to its entry into the social portrait of the team.

Keywords: professional communication, gender differences, social portrait of the professional team, experimental research.

MILITARY JARGON AND PROFESSIONAL MILITARY LANGUAGE

B. Boyko

MILITARY JARGON AND PROFESSIONAL MILITARY LANGUAGE

The article deals with the analysis of the functioning problems of professional jargon in professional military language. Military jargon in the author’s
understanding is a certain amount of lexical and phraseological units, that characterize the language of military servicemen. Units of the professional jargon as
a certain set of verbal substitutes of official terms are between units of military terminology and general military jargon. Military professional jargon is realized in the professional language of military servicemen. Along with the communicative function, in communication processes it performs the function of linguistic economy and shows social belonging of the speaker to the professional group. An organizing function of the professional jargon is used to reduce distances vertically. It serves the process of delegating responsibility for carrying out tasks from above and taking this responsibility from below. The professional language of military servicemen can be analyzed in fiction and publicistic texts. In order to make the military professional vocabulary more understandable for the readers who do not have sufficient professional education, the authors of the texts in mass publications
provide an in-text commentary on some units of the professional jargon. The illustrative material is borrowed from popular military publications, mainly from the
texts of the “Krasnaya Zvezda” newspaper.

Key words: military jargon, military professional language, military terminology, military jargon, social and speech functions of professional jargon.

MYTHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

I. Zhuravlev

MYTHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION

When constructing a communicative model of speech process it is necessary to take into account the existence of different types, forms and levels of communication. One of the actual tasks of modern psycholinguistics is the study of a professional community communication. At the same time, it should be understood that communication is carried out in different forms and at different levels: not everything in the communication process is accessible to the reflective self-view and critical assessments of it’s participants. The paper presents a theoretical analysis of the mythological aspects of professional communication. We understand professional myth as a system of expectations shared by the members of a professional community, which at the time of communication is not subjected to conscious reflection. A distinction is made between the categories of “professional world image” and “professional myth”. It is shown that the functioning of the professional myth can be studied on the basis of A.N. Leontiev’s idea of dialectical opposition “image—process”. Although myth is not susceptible to reflection, the process of myth adoption needs its partial objectification (it happens when learning professional language). In the course of pedagogical activity we can see a transition from extra-group communication (when a representative of the profession refers to people who are not the bearers of this professional worldview and professional myth) to intra-group communication (i.e. communication within a professional group).

Keywords: communication, professional communication, world image, professional myth, reflection, knowledge

BLOGGER’S LINGUAL IDENTITY IN MODERN NETWORK COMMUNICATION

M. Ryabova

BLOGGERS LINGUAL IDENTITY

IN MODERN NETWORK COMMUNICATION

The article is devoted to the issue of blogger’s lingual identity interrelated by the network communication’s sociocultural context. Based on dual oppositions method, the role of language and speech within new present day technical environment, which is reducing blogger’s subject qualities to the internet self-presentation and that is considered to be a potential possibility of recipient’s perception absolute control, is substantiated. It happens when you rely on communicative visual means and complex use of all the tools provided by the blog (nickname, avatar, etc.). Operating on the premise that within a network communication an individual has the opportunity to introduce himself in the way he wants and his speech embodied in an electronic text may be the only source of information about the blogger. The blog language is a mixture of various functional styles. It is characterized by the presence of both literary language neutral means and colloquial forms. In this sense it can be argued that blogs play the roles of evolution and development spaces for XXI century linguistic means and that this affects the blogosphere state as a whole. It was concluded that if we take into account that the development of technologies contributed to the appearance of the blog genre and the same factor still affects the genre evolution, then we can safely say that the new opportunities to study blogger’s lingual identity and to identify, how an individual use the language in his speech depending on the method of communication, with the further technological development will appear.

Keywords: language, speech, lingual identity, blogger, blogosphere, network communication environment, dual opposition, self-presentation.
