APPROACHES TO STUDYING THE PHENOMENON OF HUMAN WEEL-BEING: A REVIEW OF FOREIGN AND LOCAL THEORIES

Annotation. The article presents a classification of the main approaches to studying the phenomenon of human well-being and describes the most famous well-being theories developed. Based on the analysis, it was established that this concept lacks theoretical consensus; there are a number of differences of a conceptual and terminological nature; there is no common understanding of the process of formation of subjective well-being and the factors that influence it.

MYTH AS A PROJECTION OF THE COLLECTIVE UNCONSCIOUS IN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

Annotation. The article shows that modern science is characterized by integration approaches: one and the same problem can be comprehensively considered only when different sciences are combined. This is a myth that is being investigated by various sciences. The myth, on the one hand, formed the collective unconscious, on the other hand, the collective unconscious lies at the origins of the myth; it can be studied not only through the analysis of the human psyche (by psychology) and sociology, but also through myth, for example, by linguistics, which is demonstrated in the article.

REVIEW OF RESEARCH ON THE CONCEPT OF “WISE HUMANITY OF AN ORGANIZATION” IN THE CONTEXT OF A COGNITIVE APPROACH

Annotation. Relevance. Further development of models of reflexive management of organizations. The goal is to show the potential of the concept of wise humanity of the organization (WHO) to overcome the traps of reflexive management in the context of the cognitive approach. Results: the concept of MChO was substantiated, including a model, diagnostic tools, and possible areas of application. The analysis of theories of humanity, intergroup adaptation in an organization, its reflexive management, including various concepts of knowledge management, wisdom/stupidity paradigms was carried out. The method of cognitive review of the author’s research was used. The concept of AKTEL (active element) is introduced as a cognitive tool for escaping the traps of reflexive management of an organization. Using a sample of 216 people as an example. 6 organizations in various spheres, the contribution of MChO actels was revealed, which is determined qualitatively by the transfer and transformation of the movement of the organization, quantitatively – by the elements of MChO actels: the number of degrees of freedom, trajectory and speed. The emphasis is placed on the dominant actel of the MChO, which is dependent on the socio-cognitive types of management situations of D. Snowden’s Cynefin platform. Main conclusions. Knowledge of the dominant actel of the MChO helps to predict the emergence of a management situation on D. Snowden’s Cynefin platform and substantiate recommendations for managing the organization’s personnel. Practical outcome: the results of the study can be used as a tool for diagnosing an organization to optimize the management of its personnel.

PSYCHOLINGUISTIC ASPECTS OF THE ORGANISATION OF TEACHING THE DISCIPLINE “INTRODUCTION INTO THE THEORY OF INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION”

The article provides recommendations to streamline the course “Introduction into the theory of intercultural communication”, which has been entrenched in the curriculum of Russian philology students. The author underpins the necessity to combine lecture and seminar classes, since theoretical knowledge is to lead to the development of practical skills of successful interaction with the representatives of other cultures. A number of methods are listed that are efficient in levera+ging the educational process in this discipline. Concrete tasks are enumerated that could contribute to enhancing students’ practical skills of intercultural communication. The author puts forward and insists on the pivotal idea that philology students ought not only to be taught to think in the foreign language they learn, but also to familiarise themselves with the view of life appropriate to the relevant culture. A conclusion is made that a teacher running the discipline “Introduction into the theory of intercultural communication” is able to deliver to students the main principles of this theory in a most effective way and properly organize the process of education in this discipline in case he/she is an expert in psycholinguistics or is aware of fundamental psycholinguistic knowledge base.

THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL MEANING OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
(expert opinion)

The article presents the expert opinion of the Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Chief researcher of the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing of the Russian Academy of Education Vladimir Ivanovich Slobodchikov on the problem field of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Cultural-historical  trends in the development of professional activity”, held on December 18-19, 2020 at the Moscow City Pedagogical University. The problem field of the conference is outlined by psycholinguistic and psychological analysis of nature, phenomenology, as well as various forms of professional activity support and professional communication in the modern world. Special attention is paid to the possibilities of expanding the key positions of the cultural-historical approach in the multidisciplinary aspect, taking into account the modern socio-cultural transformations of the world of professional activity and professional communication.

KEY TERMS AND CONCEPTS IN PUBLIC RELATIONS

The article reveals the basic concepts and terms of public relations used in the academic and professional environment. The article is intended for an reader who is not an expert in this field, therefore, it analyzes the very term “public relations” and its synonyms in Russian, provides a systematic overview of the definitions of this term, both Russian and foreign authors. Criteria are given to highlight PR among related communication technologies, in particular advertising. For a better understanding of the process of public relations, the article gives a brief overview of the main tools, the areas of services, PR documents, PR events, as well as the stages of the PR campaign. The characteristics of the structures engaged in public relations – PR-services of organizations and PR-agencies, as well as the reasons for the cooperation of these structures are given. The article summarizes the author’s many years of experience both in teaching the discipline “Introduction to the Public Relations Specialty” and in work in this industry, and is intended to help the interested reader to get acquainted with a new sphere of public relations.
