THE RELATIONSHIP OF PERSONAL VALUES CIVILIAN AND MILITARY SPECIALISTS IN THE MODERN PERIOD OF DEVELOPMENT OF RUSSIAN SOCIETY
Annotation. During the period of the special military operation in the neighboring republic, along with military-technical issues, the spiritual and moral problems of the young population of Russia, who are joining the ranks of military personnel, come to the fore. Despite the fact that the ideals and values of the civilian population and military personnel are generally correlated, and the army is a fragment of society, the subject-situational circumstances of their existence have differences. This, apparently, should be reflected in the modern structure of value orientations and ideals and, ultimately, in the behavior and activity of military and civilian youth. In this regard, a survey of cadets of a military university and students of humanitarian specialties of a civilian university was conducted in order to identify their value orientations. A methodology for the study of personal meanings is applied, including direct, differentiated and color surveys, as well as semantic analysis of images relevant to incentive values presented in a symbolic format. Correlation analysis revealed that, in general, the ratio of perception, understanding and acceptance of meanings-values by both students and cadets is almost the same. At the substantive and associative-semantic level of value acceptance, students and cadets are dominated by ego-centrist and vital values, and there is also an increase in the importance of ethno-centrist positions among all respondents. However, the value-semantic structure of consciousness of cadets of a military university and students of a civilian university has some features at all levels of meaningful, emotional and associative analysis, manifested in a specific order of arrangement of specific values.
Keywords: value orientations, methodology for the study of personal meanings, value-semantic structure of consciousness, subject-content level of analysis, emotional-semantic level of analysis, associative-semantic level of analysis, correlation analysis, dominant and rearguard values.
