ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: A NEW ONTOLOGY OF THE THEORY OF SPEECH COMMUNICATION BY E.F. TARASOV

Abstract. The theory of speech communication developed by E.F. Tarasov and colleagues was able, to a certain extent, to overcome the reductionist characteristic of the theory of activity and the theory of speech activity. In particular, theoretical justifications for intercultural communication and the role of the author of the text in the process of organizing joint activities were developed. In recent years, the development of computer technologies has led to the emergence of a new ontology of the theory of speech communication: texts generated by generative artificial intelligence (GAI). Under these conditions, existing models of text analysis that explicitly include the author of the text cease to work, since GAI cannot be considered a “collective communicant” and, in fact, we are dealing with a text that looks meaningful but is devoid of an author.

Keywords: author, generating artificial intelligence, theory of speech communication.
