CONSTRUCTING ETHNOPSYCHOLINGUISTIC IDENTITY BASED ON DATA FROM AN INFORMATION ANALYTICAL SYSTEM FOR CONDUCTING ASSOCIATIVE EXPERIMENTS

Abstract. Ethnopsycholinguistic identity is a dynamic, constructed phenomenon that reflects an individual’s awareness of their belonging to a specific ethnic group, which is mediated by their value-based attitude towards the surrounding realities (the material world, the natural world, the symbolic space, and the socio-normative space), which are encoded in language. The study of ethnopsycholinguistic identity requires approaches that focus on processing large amounts of data that reflect the deep, unconscious layers of the language speakers’ consciousness. The authors used a bilingual information and analytical system to identify a set of culturally specific knowledge through verbal representations – associative chains that reflect the process of constructing identity narratives. The article proposes an algorithm for constructing ethnopsycholinguistic identity based on data from an information and analytical system and identifies the structural and content components of ethnopsycholinguistic identity (language, intellectual and creative, and personal). The results of the study provide insight into the specific features of the subjects’ ethnic self-awareness, allowing for an analysis of the dynamics and intensity of the development of young people’s identity in the context of the interplay between the “world of traditions” and the “world of innovations.”

Keywords: ethnopsycholinguistic identity, ethnic self-awareness, digitalization, information and analytical system.
