Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the implementation of communication techniques in the speech of representatives of pedagogical management discourse – a typical type of discourse that includes characteristics of both pedagogical and management varieties of discourse. The key participants in this type of discourse are members of the administration of educational institutions, who combine organizational, supervisory and educational tasks in the course of their professional activities. The article provides an interpretation of the concept “communication techniques”, lists the most used and generally accepted of them, and also demonstrates an example of analysis of the use of various linguistic means by a representative of pedagogical management discourse, the purpose of which is to determine the communication techniques used by this representative to achieve the communication goals set by them. The analysis of the speech of the representative of pedagogical management discourse is based on three levels of the model of language personality: verbal-semantic, linguacognitive and motivational.
