PSYCHOLINGUISTIC METHOD OF STUDYING UNIVERSAL VALUES

The article offers a complex approach to the solution of the psycholinguistic problem which constitutes in research of universal values’ transformation. That is represented as the research of the value “duty” as it is perceived in Russian culture. Theoretically it is founded on the activity approach elaborated by A.N. Leontiev and the triangulation approach of social psychology. The later combines qualitative and quantitative methods which contributes into a higher level of validity and extended knowledge. The article describes the procedure of analyzing the basic value ‘duty’ with the help of the battery of such methods as the associative experiment, psychosemantic experiment and definitive analysis
