SEARCHING FOR CORRELATION BETWEEN RECIPIENTS’ PERSONAL FEATURES AND HOW RECIPIENTS EVALUATE VOICE AND SPEECH FEATURES OF OTHER PEOPLE ASSOCIATED WITH THE IMAGE OF AGGRESSOR
Abstract. The paper describes the results of experimental research on the material of auditory perception. We check the hypothesis that individuals whose psychological profiles record a tendency to an aggressive type of response to conflict / frustration situations, in their reactions to a situational trigger, characterize the stimulus as more aggressive. To determine the psychological profile of participants in relation to the subject of the study, standardized psychological testing methods were used. To identify assessments formed by participants in relation to speech products associated with the speaker’s image, a worked out methodology of auditory-perceptual analysis was used. We used as stimuli 20 samples of recorded speech associated with the image of aggressor (monologues, in Russian language by 10 male and 10 female informants). Overall of 34 native Russian participants (11 males, 23 females) formed a homogeneous group, balanced by age, socio-economic status, and the level of education. We checked statistical hypotheses using single-factor dispersion analysis for incoherent samples (ANOVA) and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient (rs). In general, comparison of the results based on correlation analysis is characterized by similar trends revealed during dispersion analysis.
