Peer Review

All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office of the journal “Organizational Psycholinguistics” undergo mandatory double-blind peer review. This procedure ensures complete anonymity, both of the authors for the reviewers and of the reviewers for the authors, guaranteeing maximum objectivity and impartiality of the assessment.

Criteria for evaluating manuscripts by reviewers:

  1. Relevance and scientific novelty of the work in the context of current research in the field of psycholinguistics, psychology, and management.
  2. Theoretical and methodological soundness: correctness of the chosen research design, data collection and analysis methods.
  3. Reliability and validity of the presented results and conclusions.
  4. Correspondence of the article’s content to its stated aims, title, and abstract.
  5. Logical flow, structure, and quality of the scientific presentation.
  6. Completeness and relevance of the bibliography.
  7. Quality and appropriateness of illustrative material, tables, and diagrams.

Peer Review Procedure:

Appointment of Reviewers

Peer review is conducted by members of the Editorial Board and invited external experts – leading Russian and international specialists in the field of psycholinguistics, psychology, and related disciplines. At least two reviewers are appointed for each manuscript.

Review Timeline and Content

The standard review period is 1 month. This period may be extended at the reviewer’s request. After reviewing the manuscript, the reviewer provides a detailed report with a recommendation to the editorial board:

  • Accept for publication without revisions.
  • Accept for publication after minor author revisions (stylistic edits, clarification of wording).
  • Return for substantive revision followed by re-review.
  • Reject the article (with mandatory justification for the decision).

Editorial and Author Actions After Review

The editorial office sends the authors the text of the review (without the reviewer’s personal details) with a proposal to consider the comments when preparing a new version of the manuscript. If the authors disagree with the comments, they must provide reasoned arguments. Authors are given up to 2 weeks for minor revisions and up to 1 month for substantive revisions. If the authors do not return the revised version within the specified period and do not inform the editorial office of the reasons for the delay, the manuscript is removed from consideration.

Resolution of Disputes

In case of contradictions between the author and the reviewer, the editorial office has the right to appoint an additional reviewer. The final decision in conflict situations is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on all received reports and the opinion of the editorial board.

Publication Decision

The presence of positive reviews is an important, but not the sole, basis for publication. The final decision on the publication of a manuscript is made at a meeting of the editorial board. After a decision is made, the editorial office notifies the authors of the outcome and the expected publication date. Manuscripts rejected by decision of the editorial board will not be reconsidered.

Storage of Reviews

All reviews are stored in the journal’s editorial office for 5 years.

If a significant error is found in a published article, authors are obliged to immediately notify the editorial board and prepare a correction (corrigendum), which will be published and linked to the original article.
