Member of editorial boards and boards of 5 scientific journals. Under the supervision of prof. Bulgakov A.V., 16 scientific papers were defended (14 candidate and 2 doctoral dissertations). In 2010, on the initiative of prof. Bulgakov A.V., a dissertation council on psychological sciences was created on the basis of MGOU (19.00.03 - labor psychology, engineering psychology, ergonomics; 19.00.05 - social psychology). The dissertation council successfully passed re-registration and was approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. He is the chairman of the dissertation council. Since 2018, a member of the dissertation council of the Moscow State Linguistic University in the specialty "Pedagogical Psychology".
He was awarded two state awards by the President of the Russian Federation, two by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, and 10 departmental medals (Ministry of Defense of the USSR and the Russian Federation, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation); the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for many years of fruitful work in developing and improving the educational process, and a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists; and the Certificate of Honor of the Duma of the Moscow Region.
