THE USE OF CREOLIZED TEXTS IN PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
The article describes the characteristic of using creolized texts in professional activities. There are three components of professional activity: performance by the employee of the direct professional duties, professional communication in the professional environment and professional training. There are several criteria for the use of creolized texts in professional speech activity. The first is the participation of workers in the production of creolized texts. According to this criterion, there are different professions whose representatives produce such texts themselves (for example, doctors, teachers), and professions whose representatives do not produce creolized texts (for example, transport drivers). The second criterion is perception of creolized texts in the process of work. For example, transport drivers have to “read” creolized texts in the course of work, and for writers and artists there is no such need. The third criterion is the degree of normalization of professional creolized text. There are professions whose representatives deal with template creolized texts (for example, drivers), while others work with unique texts – artists. The degree of normalization may be different. The fourth criterion is related to the modality of perception of creolized text components. They most often used are verbal-visual texts, where words are combined with the image, there are also verbal-auditory and verbal-visual-auditory.
Keywords: creolized text, professional communication, normalization of the text, modality of the perception of the text.
